• Commonly installed immediately after the discharge side of 2-1/2″ centrifugal or openwell pumps.
• Prevents reverse water flow when the pump stops, protecting the impeller and motor from hydraulic shock.

Mainline Flow Control:

• Ensures unidirectional flow in mainlines made of HDPE, PVC, or GI in drip or sprinkler systems.
• Maintains pressure in the irrigation system and stops back-siphoning from sloped fields.

Filter and Fertilizer Injection System Safety:

• Essential in sand filters, screen filters, and venturi injector setups.
• Prevents fertilizer backflow into the water source or pump, avoiding contamination and corrosion.

Gravity-fed or Overhead Tank Systems:

• Installed in tank outlet lines to avoid reverse flow into the storage tanks.

Zonal Flow Regulation:
