Uses
Air Release During System Startup
- When irrigation lines are filled with water, trapped air needs to be expelled.
- This valve releases that air automatically, preventing air pockets that can block water flow or cause erratic pressure.
Air Intake During Shutdown
- When the system is turned off or water drains out (gravity or siphon), negative pressure can form.
- The valve admits air, preventing vacuum damage or pipe collapse.
Continuous Air Release
- During normal operation, small bubbles accumulate at high points in the pipeline.
- The valve continuously releases this air without leaking water, ensuring steady and efficient irrigation.
