Uses
Lateral Water Distribution:
- The 3/4-inch pipe is commonly used as a lateral line that distributes water from the mainline to various parts of the irrigation field.
Drip Irrigation Lines:
- If it’s flexible tubing (like polyethylene pipe), it might serve as a main or sub-main for drip emitters or inline drip tape.
Sprinkler Feed Lines:
- It could be used to feed sprinkler risers or mini sprinklers, especially in greenhouses, lawns, or landscape beds.
Joint Box (JB):
- If “JB” stands for junction box, this could be an electrical or control junction box used to house connections for:
- Irrigation valves
- Solenoid wiring
- Sensors (like moisture or flow sensors)
- These are often buried or installed at grade level to protect components and allow easy maintenance.
